yeah there werent any red s2's i dont think... (well no original ones out the factory)

cant remember what carpet the black s2 rallye had, could have been red, but there were only like 2 made in that colour... so basically, thats most likely bullshit that carpet came from a s2

and he will be selling that all his life if he thinks it'll sell for £250

Worth sweet fuck all, I don't see why it should be any different juste because it's red.

They are worth more than black ones as people actually want them, and there arent that many.
As with everything, they are priced by supply and demand, but £250 is dreaming.

been in an s2 at some point as its been cut, no need to the cut the carpet to get it out of an s1

They made plenty black S2's....just only a few people imported black ones into the country. They are all left hookers IIRC

Re-listed, and now reduced to the bargain price of £175..... so grab yourself a bargain before it gets swiftly snapped up :p (I'm being sarcastic if you haven't figured it out)

They don't just come in rallye there is another model or two i think its the s1 xs but dont quote me!

I want one for my black rallye but they're far too much ££ half the time for a carpet!

106's come with grey ones aswell so black are quite sought after!

Never know, someone new to the scene, unfamiliar with the price of things may buy it. The other week some lad sold a saxsport for £60 as a 'mint stainless system, think scorpion'

Red carpet for 106 and £250 do not go together

Anyone who thinks £250 (or even £175) is justifiable for a red 106 carpet shouldn't be allowed out IMO - that's worth about of half of some 106's these days! Pretty sure all S2 Rallye carpets were blue as well - maybe it's had a life in an S2 Rallye but just isn't the original carpet.

They made plenty black S2's....just only a few people imported black ones into the country. They are all left hookers IIRC

Aren't there like 3 that have been imported? I seem to remember the blog of RACK (RallyeJames on 106oc IIRC) and it saying that there are 3 LHD known in the country but the other two have been hit with the 16v stick leaving RACK as the only LHD 8v Onyx in the country I believe?

What's wrong with that?! :p

Seriously though - I'm considering an S1 Rallye in a year or so and plan just getting some mats to protect the carpet - make sure your shoes (and any passengers shoes) are clean and job's a good'un :y:

Haha my mates know what I'm like with my cars it's fine - if they make them dirty there will be a price to pay :panic: haha
