This isnt on a Saxo but my brothers Arosa but hope someone can help.
To fix them do I simply swap yellow and red wires?

How did it go Aly?
How did it go Aly?
It just stays on nether the less, I'm sure the red and yellow just change between the ignition and direct feed to the battery?
So I'll have to find which wire comes off the battery and swap it for the ignition wire, bloody german cars!
My mate reckons Mk4 Golfs Boras passats etc all have the same wiring so if anyone else knows the solution give me a shout! :y:

Ignition off
Multi meter on yellow and then red and see which has power
Then same again with ignition on
One should have power with ignition off and both with ignition on

if this is the same as the c2 then it will stay on for about 2 mins then go off its self.
To solve it you have to get a different ignition from the cig lighter for example and use that as your ignition.
In the c2 it stays on due to being linked to the interior display thing which stays on for a few mins when you turn the car off
