First of all, sorry if this has already been posted on here somehwere but I did search and found nothing.

When I purchased my 1.1 desire back in October I had to replace the drivers side headlight unit due to damaged glass/lens etc...

The new unit is not made by Citroen.

The headlight works fine, however when driving at night I can see that the drivers side beam is much lower than the passengers side. The main centre beam looks the same as passengers side it just not as bright.

Its kinda hard to explain so I've attached a image.

I'm just wondering how I can go about ajusting the headlight.
Theres a little white dial thing on the back of the unit but when I turn it, it doesnt do much.

The white knob changes the angle of light from left to right.
To change the height (which you need to do) looking through one of the small round holes on your slam panel you will notice an allen key shape knob thingy majig (sorry, dont know how else to explain it lol), get an allen key which fits into it and either turn it left or right and you will notice the beam height either going up or going down.

Hope this helps :)

What he said and park infront a wall or somthing where you can see where both lights are pointing and match them up.

Hi, thanks for info.
Ive had a better look today and it seems that the insert inside the headlight unit has dropped down a few CM's.
Only 5months old, will look into warranty.

thanks
