sounds stupid, anyone ever made a pipe from scaffold, im thinking of trying it out, from the centre silencer to the rear of the car, if that makes sense

good idea ;) well i took my back box off and it sounded quiet but epicly cool :) its a magnex centre and magnex back box but i took back box off, drove arround for a day was so fun and was not that loud, so im wanting to just go straight thru from centre pipe?

because people take out centre silencer , why not just remove the back box ? :D

Ok but why scaffold pole. If your going to do it at least use proper exhaust pipe but prepare to be nicked

In a word NO,you`ve got enough posts to buy stuff in the wanted section just look at exhausts like supersprint etc.:panic::panic::panic:

If you really want it get some proper sized tube cut flange off on centre section and cut tip of backbox. weld tube to tip, cut to length and weld to centre section. Now you have to make a couple of hangers for it to mount propery. Easy but just stupid really.

i just got this magnex system, i only spend £50 and got a racland 4-1 mani, and it sound too standard, i took the back box off and there was this amazing rasp noice but its a race car rasp noice not like a 50cc, and i just want to keep that sound but its all to much hassel because no one wants a magnex system and i wish ide got a better sounding exhuast, hmmm

Its going to sound shit, just like running without a back box does. Either buy/have a decent exhaust made or dont bother

I have a straight through pipe which may as well be a scaffold pipe...

Creates a lot of flames, popping banging etc downside is its verrrrrrrry loud

no mid silencer and a decat will give you "rasp". A different back box wont be much if you sell the magnex

No haha

In its design, yes. Spec 2 has a small centre silencer then is a straight through pipe to the rear, which is basically what the OP is talking about doing, only with scaffold pipe:S

Dude, ebay is heaving with second hand decent systems that won't fetch £50. Seriously why even consider using scaffold pipe on the cheap...
