I have a pipercross induction kit on my furio, however it's not clamping as tight as I would like onto the throttle body, would this be a reason I don't have a nice throaty sound?

Would this cause the induction kit to under perform? Anyone else had this problem?

What would be the easiest way to rectify this? I was thinking of using a silicone reducer and clamping to the outside of the induction kit?

On my old pipercoss I had a rubber sleeve which went over the induction pipe, then the jubilee clip slid over that. The rubber sleeve is to stop the pipe from slipping, has yours got the sleeve mate?

Dear Gashman,
I know my daughters 1999 1.4 8v auto, most probably isn,t the same set up air filter wise.
Her " rubber " sleeve that fits around the throttle body, in between the air filter housing, was a little split. I went to a main dealer in Tunbridge Wells and they told me that the rubber sleeve was still available from Citroen, however it only came with a new top half of the air filter housing:P
I made one myself, and it hasn,t been any problems since either.
