Engine kangerooing

When I am in gear an clutch engaged my engine keeps lurching and sometimes at idol it flicks the revs up and down. If I put my foot half down it kind of kangaroos then goes back to normal

I thought it might be a misfire so I changed the spark plugs and the coil pack (it's a 2003) VTS.

Not sure where to go next really...any ideas?

Have you got an Engine management light come up on the dash? Could be worth a code read. Mine used to stutter/judder and also had a lumpy idle intermittently and it turned out to be a faulty map sensor, had a fault code stored but the engine light wasnt on lol :y:
