Basically when I spar/fight or take any moderate impact to the mouth area I usually get some sort of split/cut on my inner cheek, I don't mind this but it's when it turns into an ulser it drives me insane! Does anyone else get this or know a good way to prevent this cheers

I bit a chunk off my tongue last Monday, it's still agony now, don't even care if I'm only drilling or tech-rolling from now on, my mouth guard is going in lol

But really, you're going to get split lips and cut around the mouth, I often get ulcers myself, it's just part of the course, got to learn to live with it, or use it as inspiration to work on your defence / footwork and stop taking head shots ;)

Haha yea I know what you mean, better to train with it in for your breathing any ways :D I know what you mean but it's literally every little split even if its tiny it turns into an ulser! Makes training extra painful if I take any head shots :p I do work on not getting hit but yano I'm not quite Bruce lee yet ;)

Invest in a lot of Bonjela :D

But really, not a lot that can be done, what mouth guard are you using?

To get fitted for a proper mouthguard. Not a boil and bite jobby.

Go to your dentist and he will get one made up for you, mine was £60 plus the dentist appointment for the moulds to be made and I got black and gold stripes.

Worth it for you'd teeth if you ask me mines for rugby though.
