Door Mirror Off

Hi guys. How easy is it to change a door mirror? The whole assembly needs replacing as a gust of wind blew my garage door onto the yellow Saxo's mirror and knocked it clean off...it now hangs by the side of the door like a fool. Are they easy to take off/refit and also can you change the coloured caps on them? (So if I bought a mirror with a different cap are they easily changed??) Mine is Zest Yellow so you don't see many of them around (saw drivers side but not passenger side). Any help appreciated :) Cheers

Take off the plastic panel the adjuster sits on inside the car, you'll see how's it's fixed on.

Pretty easy to swap out iirc

The caps are clipped on so should be ok, you might snap the clips when removing it though, so you'd have to use tigerseal or something to bond it back on.
