Am looking at installing bucket seats to my furio as the original seats have seen better days, and i am enquiring about the airbag wire that's under the drivers and passengers seat. can a keep the wire unplugged

Yeh you can leave it unplugged, but you will need to put a resistor across it to ensure the airbag light doesnt flash

could use a dice connecter to make a connection with both wires

It needs a certain resistance in the wire (i cant remember what offf the top of my head) otherwise it puts the light on the dash

2.2 ohm resistor.

yeh that would be fine but you could just get these (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-x-2-2-K-Ohm-0-25w-Metal-Film-1-4w-Resistor-1-2K2-/121025410828?pt=UK_BOI_Electrical_Components_Suppl ies_ET&hash=item1c2dad370c) and solder them in (bit cheaper)

a have no clue how to solder a think il go a head and buy the ones ave seen if they will ill leave it as is and if they dont il probs get my old man to help me with the ones youve showing me :)

Just put them in and give them a round of insulation tape,no need to solder.

did you sort the airbag light?
i bought 10 2.2ohm resistors for a quid or something and just taped them in so easy look gd pal

aye a didn't need to use the resistors a used the old car seats as a frame il put up a photo of what a done

Ensure you fix the airbag light or else it may fail MOT.

This is what I did !
At first I felt they sat a bit too high but now I have got used to it free subframe yo!
