Mechanic has told me to pass my MOT im going to need "steering rack ends" Hes not 100% sure what you call them and i dont know what they are or look like.
Found something on ebay...can anyone comfirm this is the correct thing? thanks

Thats a steering rack end gaitor.
He will most likely mean track rod ends.

Yes thats what you need. My end bit was hanging off so just gaffer taped it then put cable tie on to hold it. If you turn you can see the steering rack bar popping out with grease on iirc.

No gaiter or a damaged one is need for a fail. surely that is what he means.
A mechanic would not forget what a track rod end is. You'd hope. lol

no he already mentioned he needs to replace the track rod end. He was on about this steering rack end thing lol.
Im guessing it is this gaitor thing ill risk it...only £14 at stake lol
