whats the big deal?
most, if not all, of the stadiums in the premiership, have large screens somewhere, and they all have filming crews in attendance, so why not just do what they have done in cricket and rugby, and if there is any doubt over ANY decision, its simpley enough put on the screen, rather than just goal decisions.

I think eventually it will be used for all major decisions like red cards and penalties as there's too much money in football now for decisions to cost teams places in the league.

Its coming in next season, hawkeye, same as they use in cricket, the ref will know within 1 second if the ball crosses the line!

it's about time too. They should bring in an NFL challenge type rule where they get two bites at the cherry to challenge a decision and lose a challenge if it goes against them, else they will be challenging every decision.
