Car won't start...? Not sure if immobiliser or not... MK2 VTS

Got a mk2 2002 saxo vts and it's stopped starting? Like it turns over but then soon as you try start it up ignition just doesn't work. Makes a clicking sound every time you try, managed to jump start it though so dont think its the immobiliser...?

Anyone have any ideas?

Starter motor sticking would be my guess.

A bar and a hammer works until you find a replacement :P.

Yeah sounds like the starter motor that's what I thought, I just have to move it slightly and jump start it ATM. How much is replacement starter motor? Or to fix the problem?

Around £15-£25 from a scrappy/breakers or look for 1 on here, So cheap enough.

As said if you shock it by hitting it with a bar + hammer it will free it / start again - may last a few days.. :y:
