Career Life path. Serious thread.
I'm looking for something that's going to give me a different problem each day, no two days the same.
I'm not keen on office work, I prefer the outdoors and a bit of labour.

I've been looking down the lines of maybe training at an Airport, or something.

I know there will be some shit ideas on here but, I'm a bit hung up as to what to go for.
Can you recommend any job line to go for, or something you enjoy? :y:

Im a apprentice mechanic/electrician on buses for National Express, its a good job, no 2 days are the same and beats working in a office.

I hear National grid is a good one to get into if you can. That has crossed my mind, high risk job on pylons and stuff.
I'm looking into careers with the RAF and Navy, but not too sure on that.
@Saxo Singh, what sort of things do you do?

I'm now qualified but when i started my apprenticeship I wanted to leave my options open but i wanted to work in construction/engineering. I worked for an Architects and my first four years where nc and hnc in construction to give me a range of knowledge over construction in general. Upon completing that degree I had 4 years practical experience in architecture alongside my qualifications and decided to stick at it! So then went on to my degree as i enjoy designing and technical nature of my job and the ability to property develop.

A lot of people i went to college with were also apprentices as it was a part time qualification!

A lot switched jobs from being quantity surveyors to project managers etc.

I'd definately suggest doing something similar! Set me up very well for my degree also, muchbetter than a levels would.

Whatever sector you wish to go into juatbkeep your options open, a lot of people i went to college with got fed up as they realised most days were the same!
