Hi, I don't actually own a Saxo yet, but I am on the look out for one as a second car as i want to do some track days.

I was going to use my current car and replace that with a daily hack, but I love my current car too much to start ripping apart, I have a 2000 x reg Vectra GSI MSD,

They are a limited edition 2.5ltr v6 with 200hp. My mods currently are
Race centre section
K&n
Irmscher grills
3.8fpr
Tried to keep it standard and clean. It was 5th to last of the 2.5 before vauxhall started making them 170hp 2.6's

These are getting pretty hard to find with low mileage now, mine is only on 86k. One of the lowest in the SE region.

So I hope to be using this forum for help, and info on my track build as and when I find a suitable car to start my work on :p

So yeah, hi!

Hi, can anyone help me? Is a VTS much better than a VTR? What's the differences apart from power? Many thanks

better gearbox ratios, larger radiator at least compared to mk1 vtr, think the Master cylinder is marginally bigger, ABS although VTRs can have that as an option, electric mirrors and multiple airbags althought you could probably get this on the VTR in the right spec. Slightly better trim levels too as regards to seats I think. Mk2 VTS got 15inch wheels with a more pleasant design. Oh and ultra chavvy 16v badges too, thinks thats about your lot
