Pointless doing the belt with out the pullys and water pump most of the time it isn't the belt that snaps it a pully or water pump that gos. Bearings go and that is what makes the belt slip or snap

All i`d say is with things off,of ebay sometimes you get not the real thing mate.Personally i`d prefer too go to somewhere like eurocarparts at least then you`ve got some form of comeback.:y::drink:

Dayco... There always gates belts and tbh even if your sticking it up for sale "cambelt kit and water pump just done" is a real buyers attraction...

So buying this one could be a mistake? Tbh if i brought one from euro and it snapped they wouldn't do anything anyway

I got mine from Citreon, my mate works there so i got it at a good price ;)

I always and will always use Gates belts.

A genuine Citroen receipt will look a lot better to a buyer than a eBay one.

It's only £86 from citroen if I remember rightly, not exactly expensive.

I will go for a gates kit then as seems to be the most favorited

Just found this on ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Genuine-Timing-Cam-belt-Kit-Peugeot-106-1-6-Gti-16v-TU5J4-/370782046648?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3 D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D7052596640484351635%26pid%3 D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D370782046648% 26

it's where i live and from the main dealer so i'm guessing that's how much they are from the dealer
