In the pic circled is the area of pipe i snapped when removing the air filter housing, ever since ive had the pipe taped up nice and tight with electrical tape. My car has had a bad idle and lumpy driving every now and again, which i blame on the ICV which i clean every now and again. But could this snapped pipe be the problem? And what is it called to order a new one?

replace it iirc they are about £13 from citron, Its the breather pipe, Your engine is getting too much air that's why u have a shitty idle.

i snapped mine before on both sides. Had it taped up for months with no running issues until i got a new one.

Got a new one from a 306 iirc. Theyre all the same on like every peugeot and citroen lol if theres a scrapyard near you

not to say that yours isnt causing the problem though. I remember a mates 205gti had a hole in one of the induction pipes and that caused a dodgy idle
