My car is doing my head in, my battery died and ever since it has not been right reving up 2 5000rpm

Things i have done so far:

1: ecu reset over nyt
2: cleaned icv
3: reset icv
4: replaced icv
5: pulled map sensor out when high idle and revs droped
6: replaced map sensor
7: pulled out collent temp plug on high idle never done anything it stayed at high idle
8: in the process of another ecu reset with new icv and map sensor in as last ecu reset was done with old parts in

Any other ideas what it could be?

Spark plugs were changed with a service not that long ago, would it not misfire with a fucked spark plug? Also i checked the bat and the readings were ok this is why am so puzzled lol

What does happen, when u press the pedal to the floor? What happens when it gets close to 5000rpm?

You cant go above that?

When the car starts it goes up 2 5000rpm and sticks there, if i put my food on the accelerator it will rev up from the 5000rpm but when i let go it sticks back there

Alright, you write that you have cleaned the throttle, but have you watched it?

If its closed then it wont get any air, and CAN'T rev that high.

So the throttle must be opened, or something. Is the gas/accelerator-wire to tightened?

Yeah it opens and shuts when reving

Also i havent touched the throttle cable so it surely cant be to tight?

Did you try jump starting it when the battery died? I bump started my VTR once when the battery died and mine did exactly this, all I did was removed the battery for an hour put it back on and it was back to normal.

Right after pluggin the car in and starting it its reving ok, not had a chance to take it a long drive yet so hopefully all problems are resolved,

On another note how do u check strut mounts & bearings? Got a knock front and narrowed it down to this as all other parts are new, also is there any guide on here how to change them, i cant find it by searching

After a long drive holding the revs etc on a straight road, the problem is back, it seems a over nyt ecu reset helps a bit but i cant do that all the time, does this incline to a falty ecu or am a still missing something?
