I just got home after fitting a dual fan set up to the car (vts) and when I parked up coolant started to come from under the car, it was dripping onto the under tray and a decent bit came out.

I opened the coolant cap about 20minutes later and it was full of dirty coolant, this is continuing to drop in level but not very quickly.

The leak appears to be from the bottom of the rad.

Could incorrectly fitting the dual fan have caused this?? Or is it just a shity coincidence?? The car was getting reasonable hot and I didn't notice the fans working just before the leak happend.

The temp wasn't in the red zone or anything but it was about 75% up

Probably caused by corrosion on the bottom of the rad, which is where mine went mate.

It looks like there's no power going to the dual fans, causing the rad to over heat and push coolant out the cap.

Il need to try and figure out why there's no power going to the fans and hopefully that will cure the issue. Also gotta make sure the new fan set up actually works, I just took it for granted that it would
