Anybody else use a lot of data on their phone?

I'm forever checking my speed, this is probably my best result yet!

Just tested, got just under 1MB download and 0.8 upload.

Still better than the shocking Broadband connection I've got at home.

I've got 30MB Virgin at home which is pretty cool, but when I stay at the missus' she uses Sky ADSL, her maximum I've ever tested is 996Kbps! Not even 1MB, so I use my phone, I get about 6MB at hers:panic:

It means a film to download would take approximately 45 minutes (700mb file) as opposed to using mine and downloading it in 5 minutes :y:

I get better speed on my 4G than my Virgin Broadband, but the Ping time is lower on the BB.

Can someone tell me why the fuck you require 10+MB on a smartphone?

some people download films from itunes.. It also means you could download a new album to listen to in minutes..

Got this at work just now. No in a 4g area but this is at least double my home broadband speed! Shame I don't get this all the time
