They've excelled themselves there, sent you the wrong side of the car and incorrect type (flat instead of tapered)

Couldnt of been a worse mix up, with shafts it's just easier to collect from local motor factors so you can see for yourself

Seems like something euro car parts would do lol.

Tell them you want the correct type mate replaced asap.

Is it from J&R by any chance ?

They sell good shafts to be fair, just not the best knowledge wise with regards to fitment, Gazer will tell you this lol.... pretty sure they gave him the wrong type.

When I got mine from them, I went down there and collected as it's near my house.

This is why all my perishable items are collected in person from my local motor factors, and they are usually as cheap as eGay

Aha soon as saw thread and eBay J&R come to mind, I had few problems with them in sense that they gave me the wrong type of shaft, then tries telling me I didn't know what type was on my own car even though I had just replaced the hubs the day before.. Wasn't impressed got money back and went elsewhere.

Carl has them though and not had any issues don't believe..?

You from brum Vinnie? I do like to see the parts before paying so can make sure is correct fitment etc.

Mine are fine. Only thing i had to do was knock ABS ring off and fit. Jobs a gooden, 2 years down the line and they're fine.

I actually replaced it because my previous one has a god awful whistle, like a boiling teapot. I knew it was the shaft, despite people telling me it was brakes.
Had em both done, whistle gone.

I suppose i`m lucky really having eurocarparts just down the road from me,if they come out with the part & its wrong I show them the car.Its often the case they turn round & say i`ve never seen one like that before, well thats the part have you got any in stock lol?

This is why I dont buy bits like this off the web.

Can get shafts from my local for like £30-40

I bought a driveshaft mew from JR at half the price of one from another company for my Integra. The ones the other company supplied failed twice both after ten miles, the JR was fine and lasted ages
