is absolutely shocking! most of the people on here are complete haters and just comment on your stuff with negative comments and generally being rude! yeah I do understand people are entitled to their own opinions but there is no need to speak to people like crap! every progress thread I go on there's someone slating some one else's car!

why cant people just be polite and say oh yeah its not to my taste but I like this about it.... rather than picking faults out! so many argumentative people around its unreal!

the other forums I use are never like this! its always constructive criticism or people just being nice and friendly

Regardless of what colour you are, if I think your a bell-end, I'll tell you.

My view is mate, people abuse power, lie and ultimately, are greedy and selfish.

It kinda shows...... Before an election, "I'll do this this and this", gets the votes but then you can pretty much guarantee by the second or third year people want them out because they haven't done fuck all apart from line their pockets with bonuses whilst the working class get poorer. I know there's a bigger picture than that, but that's what most people see. The rich getting richer and exploiting laws to avoid taxes, then, for example, they slap bedroom tax on the working class. Laughable.

I take home 900 a month (apprentice wage).

When i started my apprenticeship 7 years ago, nearly 8, i was on £303 a month, and i had to travel 15 miles each way to work every day.. Worked out at £1.75 an hour for the hours i did!

Brettles1986
2nd May 2013, 12:51
I went through a spell where I moved in with someone then went back home with parents and did this twice. I now share a house with my sister, back when I moved back home though I could easily have saved around £400 a month and that is with CSA Payments, a car loan and volunteering £300 per month to my parents.

So when you think about it, if you are earning around £1k and living with parents with no other commitments then there should be no reason why you cannot live a more than reasonable lifestyle.

TBH I have never had a problem, I volunteered paying myself, as a father it's the moral thing to do, I did offer to pay my ex direct but she didn't want to.

I pay enough each month to know i'm paying it but the way I look at it is that my daughter walks around in Next clothing looking very tidy and is always fed good food, so it's money well spent IMO.

People always assume the CSA take a cut but that isn't the case, my ex assures me the whole amount hits her account every month.

I'm not questioning your morals.. I'm just saying the organisation is corrupt, you read about not all the money you pay goes to the kid, some of it goes straight into the system which is bullshit IMO.
Then you read stories how it cripples people financially but it's not a great deal to pay iirc ?
But yeah, I read they are being taken over by the government to a company called child maintenance ?

No it's not a huge amount by any means, it's only about 10% of my wages.

I can only speak for my situation and that is that all the money goes to my daughter. Not sure if they are being taken over but I think they need to adopt the same tactic as they do in America where you can be sent to prison for not paying.

It really grinds my gears when people say they can't afford to pay it, did they not think about this when they had the child?

What the fuck happened here?

First there was moaning mertle about her car or something, then something about wages, then prison, then drugs, now child support?

I feel like I'm browsing videos on Youtube, start of watching Rihanna diamonds and end up watching gangstyle killings

To be fair, its one of the more grown up threads I've seen on this site so far haha

haha! the thing is im not moaning, im stating a fact, just saying!

Totally agree. First impressions of the forum arent good IMO, mainly due to poor attitude of some members. The info is there if you look hard enough but folk get arsey for the sake of it, plus its clicky group (maybe a core element of long term friends?)

Personally it doesnt bother me as I dont know the people and dont particularly care to. I joined to access information and to maybe provide some in return. I can see however how it would put some folk off

simple way of seeing things is that very few of us came to this forum knowing as much as they do. i didnt know th diff form a bolt to a nut and wouldnt dare say i know a lot now but it's about learning. no poiint in slating newbies. we were all learner's once, and on th grand scheme of things, those slaters are learners who simply know a little more. doesnt justify stick.

I don't have one personally, was just pointing out £1300 a month isn't a decent wage if you do..

But i assume its not that bad, my dad is a self employed joiner, he had a mortgage on this house till my mum bought him out, now he has a mortgage on another...

If you can prove you have years of steady earnings, and not like 10k one year, 20k the next, then 5 the next, i cant imagine its too bad..

My mum also re mortgaged this house when she bought my dad out, she is self employed, owning her own news agent..

No it's not a huge amount by any means, it's only about 10% of my wages.

I can only speak for my situation and that is that x the money goes to my daughter. Not sure if they are being taken over but I think they need to adopt the same tactic as they do in America where you can be sent to prison for not paying.

It really grinds my gears when people say they can't afford to pay it, did they not think about this when they had the child?

Fuck child support, I'll never pay for my kid it can go fuck itself x

Many people you talk to online adopt personas which do not reflect how they are in reality.

It's quite difficult to read personalities over the internet though.

If someone makes a sarcastic comment. People can easily read it as being offensive. When in reality, you would know it was a joke or just a bit of banter.

It is important not to get caught up in things on the internet. I don't take anything on here seriously, unless it was a direct insult/threat.

Life really is too short to give a shit about some kids on an internet forum. Sure enjoy the place engage but don't take it seriously unless it's factual information or something you like.

After a certain amount of time using forums you generally become intuitive towards reading peoples characters and can tell if they are pulling your plonker or getting eSRS.

I'd have to agree here. Shame tho, if you feel the need to lie and say stuff which doesn't reflect your real opinion, why say anything at all?

Completely agree with you here mate, too many people on here take things much further than banter when it's not needed, any sort of debate will almost guaranteed turn out to be some sort of argument and slating match, which more times than not ends up in an "I'm better than you" bitch fight. Then you have the progress threads, where groups of people & mates team up to pick on people that don't lower their sax 40mm on vts wheels with an exhaust that sounds like a wasp having a spaz attack. Newbies get slated for starting a new thread, then get slated again for searching and bumping an old thread.....Ffs what do you want them to do? And to finally finish off the mini rant lol there's fuck loads of arse licking.....seems the higher your post count and better your car is the more valid your opinion is.....
