Ordered a load of cheap clothes off them for my hols. Plain Polo shirts, shorts, the lot... 80 quids worth.
1st time round, I get a note from Yodel ( cowboys ) saying its been delivered to an address in Litchfield and a note has been put through door ( WTF ? )
I phone Yodel first and the guy was very unhelpful.
I said, " did Sportsdirect put the wrong label on ? ", He goes, " naa its got your address on it, don't know whats happened ".
He basically said, Phone SportsDirect and ask them to re-send it, So i did, They told me they would re-send package and phone to confirm. They never phoned.
The next day, I phoned Yodel again to see if they had another package to deliver from SportsDirect. The guy on phone doesn't know WTF is going on, but he was more helpful and phones the man in van, who told him, they will be delivering my stuff same day. Great.
I get delivery as expected and all my gear is there.
Today I get a new dispatch email from Sport Direct :A:
Am I going to get another package ? :clapping:
If so, do I keep me mouth shut or tell them ?
I'm thinking, it's their fuck up, keep it .

Send the second delivery back saying none of it fits and you want a refund, so you get the original package for free

I've checked out the order number it's different. So, if they do send it out again, i'm gonna keep it definitely.
Another good thing, when they delivered the first parcel yesterday the driver never asked for a signature at all :D
Haha, regarding the Donnay comment LOLZ, naa TBH mate most of it is just plain polo shirts. I'm not a very big name person.... in fact, most the stuff you pay expensive for is on shit quality material. I bought a lot of plain Slazenger stuff and with a nice pair of jeans ( which i do tend to pay more expensive for ) they look smart as any other top.
Keep it, give half to local charity shop

I'd either keep the 2nd lot (if it does turn up) or do as others say and get a refund :)

When your wearing a plain muscle vest or polo shirt in Gran Canaria I don't think anyone gives a shit.
TBH, ive spend 80 quid....
got 2 Muscle vests, a sleeveless T shirt, a pair of Lee Cooper short Jeans, 2 Pairs of pumps / trainers, a hoodie, 2 pairs of shorts, 3 Polo shirts and some socks.
Most people spend 80 quid on one item these days and i'm sorry but I don't see the logic.
Don't get me wrong I have more expensive branded stuff ( Usually my jeans ) but Whilst all this stock is being sold cheap, nothing wrong with grabbing a few cheap items to fill the wardrobe.

We had a similar thing happen with a 42" Samsung tele few years back. Ours was faulty so sent it back, for some strange reason we got one a new one delivered then a few days later another came. Different models but both still new and working. Kept it in the box for a few weeks in case they phoned, heard nothing, now its on my bedroom wall lol.
Either keep it or get a refund for one lot. I'd say refund if you've already bought enough for your holiday lol

I'm sure there is some form of law against this though..
It's like Halifax accidently paid someones £60k into my bank account, and I went in to the branch to check what was going on.. (I thought my Grandad had died haha and left me it). Similar applies I think.

I used to work for USC (owned by sports direct) and their delivery option was the worst. It's cause they choose a unreliable source of delivery (Yodel). Just beware of ordering from sports directs other companies (USC, republic, firetrap)
You'll end up with too many problems which lead in to months just trying to get your items.

I used to think it was pointless paying more for labelled clothes, but the quality of some of it, it is well worth paying extra for.
Plus they lose shape so easily hate putting on a cheap t shirt looks Good at first then 20 mins later it hangs off u like à table cloth

This stuff is 100% cotton though mate. I've paid more for fuckin polyester or whatever the fuck some supposedly good brands use.
As i say, i do have good stuff but for my holiday i thought fuck it. Cheap and cheerful.
Plus, what that guy said about leaving it in the bag for a month or so, I think i might do this... I reckon if i send it back someone will cotton on and then it immediately looks like i'm trying to pull a fast one.

Sunny tyres are 100% rubber as are Michelin Pilots. Il just get Sunnys next time.
Good brands also use 100% cotton.
I bought some cheap polos and a cheap sweater for work, they ALL shrunk and went out of shape after the first wash, faded after 5 washes and the material is stiff and rough in comparison to my casual clothes which aint cheap.
Same with bed linen, I find it hard to sleep in my cheaper linen because of how rough it feels, I focus on how rough it is then I cant stop thinking and stay awake lol

I find the slazenger stuff washes quite well. After all 7 quid for a pair of trackie bottoms for chilling round the house in wont break the bank even if they last 2 washes. Primark own brand ones are bloody 3 quid!

Yeh some of them do but a lot of them are shit aswell. I bought a Firetrap jacket once which was knocking on 100 quid. Within a couple of months it had gone all loose and the pockets stitching started to loosen off.
I bought a plain navy cotton hoody. 7 quid from some market. A year later, still Fits me the same as the day i bought it. Colour runs like everything else but i'd sooner buy 5 of those than anything too expensive again.
Either way, I got some cheap shit to go away with, aswell as good stuff i already have, that's all I care about. I dont give a flying fuck about fashion.

Firetrap aint expensive either, still pretty cheap, probs same quality as Adidas really. Not cheap market store shit, but it aint great quality.
Fuck fasion, get what you feel good in.
Id attempt the return thing, be alright though if you return it get your refund then they tell you they sent two packages and ask for the other back too lol

I did the same when i bought all my gym gear... 2 pairs of joggin bottoms for like 6 quid.
No point in spending 30 buff on a track suit when you could use that money for some more whey.

I don't see why you have to be dishonest? Someone fucked up (I can't understand if it was Yodel or PikeyClothes Direct) but it's been sorted now so if you get a second package just send it back.
Also there's nothing wrong with paying for quality stuff. I would rather wear a nice Superdry (Not saying it's amazingly high quality) than something from Primark or PikeyClothes Direct.

If it been in more then 24 hours.. Cleared they legally aren't allowed to take it back out without written permission.. Not sure what they can actually do if you refuse either.. But more then likely court would find in their favour

They did by the way. :D
Silly buggers. In all fairness to SportsDirect, this is just a direct result of Yodel not doing their jobs properly. No fault of SD at all.

The little perks of human error aye ? lol.
Most the time I am a genuinely honest person. If i saw someone drop a note, i'd tell them. But things like this, you just think " Ahh, fuck it ".

I always buy clothes from SD or Primark etc for holiday then just leave all my clothes there and fill the case up with duty free.

the thing that done it for me was the fact they're a big company they can deal with the loss if it was a tiny little shop round the corner i may have done otherwise but like you said the joys of human error :)
