Saw this on Twitter, apparently the guy was beheaded (unconfirmed) and one of the assailants tried to fire at the police with a rusty revolver and it backfired and blew his finger off.

There was a terrorist arrested in Birmingham a while back and apparently the local community knew what he was like and knew of his plans... but said fuck all. I work in Eltham which is less than 5 miles from where the attack happened - pretty worrying as I was on a test drive with customers that went past the army barracks (and I THINK down the road itself where the attack happened) on Saturday.

There will always be people who will take the word of religion and twist it to their advantage. Nothing will change that.

Immigration brings a boost to the economy, and it's unfair to say that a 'large chunk' add to pre-existing issues. It's a minority that cause the issues, not the majority.

If we had no Muslims in this country then no we would technically not see any attacks like that in THEORY.

However you cant just say Islam is banned, you would have to ban or remove all the religions that aren't the same as the countries religion, 'Church of England.' Catholics have caused just as many problems along the line, as have all other major religions really and to stop them religions in this country would see the majority of the population removed.

I see what people mean on the immigration thing to a degree, the point they make is that we wouldn't have the extremist Muslims if there family members who were Muslim had been turned away years ago. However this guy comes from a Christian family.

I personally think that a huge portion of responsibility should be held on the part of the leaders of Islam in the UK to reduce the chance of extremist breeding. Its clear that they have a problem with young people becoming radicalised. All Muslims aren't the same yet an extremist isn't created without influence from other sources, as previously mentioned somewhere in this thread videos from inside of certain mosques and other Islamic meetings preaching hatred towards the UK etc can be found.

So it does happen but I think that's something that a law wont stop, it needs to come within the religion itself, very much the same as the catholic church having problems with priests.

Immigrants only really help the UK IF they are here for the correct reasons. The problem is, again as already said, that a lot of immigrants are here either illegally or they don't contribute to society.

If anybody is from Middlesbrough Im sure they know the area around 'Abadingdong Road' as its called. The area houses no white people in a section of the town and you are not welcome in most of the shops if you are white or cant speak their language. Its things like that which cause unrest I think that's appalling that the council have let that happen.

I do have to laugh at the 'Paki' comments I see about this when the guy is clearly black

With regards to your bold..... Have you heard of Alumn Rock, Small Heath, Ward End, Stechford, SparkBrook.....

What you said about that area is pretty much all of these mate.

I'm not saying I cannot go to watch a blues game ( Small Heath ) without being in fear of my life and there are many Asian people in the area that wouldn't bat an eyelid about you being there.

But you nailed it on the head when you said the council houses being taken up by immigrants, basically take over the area and drive other people out.

Whether they are nice people or terrorists, some people find this very intimidating and feel oppressed.

Those areas I mentioned are 90% Asian.... not saying that they don't have a right to live there, but it's the massive amount of people that pour in that creates a divide. It happens very quickly too.

If you drive towards the Birmingham City ground now, you will see what i'm talking about. Apart from the odd people passing through, it is completely dominated by Asian folk.
