Whats the best way to charge a new phone to get the full days usage out of it??

do you wait till its dead from opening the box or do you charge it once you have opened the box right away?

how many hours do you charge your phone for? over night, just a couple of hours ??

Its just the last time i got a samsung (tried 4 of them) every one of them had very useless battery life, maybe it was the way i charged it or it was a defect battery (altho i have been reading that people do comment on the rubbish battery life in the samsungs.

Ok when you get a new phone they have a small amount of charge left in them so the phones can be demoed by phone retailers but the best thing to do is when you get a new phone is to stick on charge for 16 hours or a bit longer.

This will fully charge the battery and condition the battery for a good battery life. The best way to recharge any mobile phone is completely flatten it so it won't turn on and then put it on charge till it says its fully. If you stick that you will have a mobile with a great battery life.

Most people don't fully charge the phone when they purchase it and leave the battery unconditioned and then charge it up when its got 1 or 2 bars left, doing that causes a bulid up of battery resindue in the battery which then makes areas of the battery unchargeable and in so shortening the battery life.

Hope this answers your question :)

Best thing to do = 16 hours on charge left alone.
