Stupid question I know.
These campervans are loaded nowadays with everything! and it's all electric.
I know you would need an inverter but surely using all that power will flatten your battery in a flash?

I'd imagine they are very similar to caravans, using electric hook-ups to a mains source. Whilst its parked that is?

Ahhh yeah, just watched a video on youtube, it's crazy how the campervans work without a hook up. 2 batteries and a converter and they last ages! I always wondered and it's bugged me for ages lol. Just seen a campervan on the TV that has a plasma tv, playstation, microwave, electric cooker and hob, electric shower and it doesnt have a hook up to mains WTF how good

We've just used my Golf for 3 days charging phones, laptops, cameras and torches without killing the battery and without running it.
Inverters are well worth the money. Even the ones you just plug into the cigarette lighter.

We run our fridges for three days on one leisure battery!
