ok so i bought this from ebay:

all well and good. i got the key friday and had it cut today but it wouldnt program to the cars ignition to start it as stated in listing.
so i contact on ebay asking for a refund in the "item not as described or not working" section and this is how the messages go. what i need to know is do i have a leg to stand on here and who should pay return postage as in the link i sent the seller it says it should be them!

I have asked for a refund of the key and return postage which you seem to be refusing. I am entitled for you to pay return postage under these rules as the key does not work. have been told the transponder chip is dead. also not been able to program it to the central locking. key cutting went fine but its the programming which you seem to have got WRONG in your ebay listing as you cannot program this key as said in it therefore this is also mis-selling. if you will not agree to cover return postage i will be escalating this claim to a dispute. nat"
