106 Built without anti roll bar :panic:

As above I looked at my run around today and it has no anti roll bar on it its a 1996 1.1 xn

The wishbones dont even have holes tapped for one to bolt on

Thought there was a reason it handles like a boat

Should I be worried / do something about it ?

Or just carry on it has made it 17 years without one :homme:

unless you swap the wishbones to the ones with the holes for the bolt down ARBs or swap to xsi/rallye wishbones and get all the arb gear from one of those but really there isn't much point to be honest, best of buying a better spec'd model

perfectly fine, I'm sure my old 1.1 zest didnt have them either. Was a bit wallowly but fun none the less.
oddly my mates 1.1 base spec saxo got the front ARB

Why would it need one? They were designed to be driven to the shops, the Gti has one because it's more sports focussed.

Golfs with small engines don't have them either, or fiestas for that matter. It's fine.
