I got a set of each. I am thinking of putting 17" wheels and have a set of Bilstein 40mm springs and a set of Eibach 45 mm springs. What will be the best to put on? I also got bilstein sprint shocks that are going to be fitted soon together with one of the sets.

alot of people on ssc recomend eibach springs with blistein dampers
i had eibach 30mm springs and they were very good for ride comfort

I intended to fit Eibachs, Hesslevtr's old ones actually but a had a change of plan. My Girlfriend has them on here Type R and they offer brilliant handling with a good ride quality.
You cant go to wrong with Eibachs +Bilsteins.

what are the poundage on the billies springs compared to the eibachs. decide then if you want it stiffer or softer

eibachs are for standard dampers.

i had eibachs on my 106 rallye, they where very good. had them fitted with my koni adj kit.
i'd recommend bilstien dampers and H+R springs though tbh.
and don't bother with the hoooge hoops!

Don't get 17s. The mods you have done on the suspension will not perform at their best with large wheels. Get 16s for a handling / looks compromise.
