Dilemma here, not long got my vtr and it only had a few wee niggles that I will eventually get round to sorting when work and college calms down but do I leave standard or mod?
The reason I am undecided is it only has 58k on it for an 02 plate. I don't know wether i should just fix all the bits and bobs and clean it etc to make it mint and standard or to lower it and do the usual upgrades like de-wiper, head/tail lights etc?

Course I do ;)
Not sure how to add a poll to be honest. Just general opinions as I want to keep the Saxo for a good while but I'm trying to think about what I want now as I like the look of lowered saxos and the mods I mentioned but don't want it to spoil the car/make it harder to sell or f**k the car up :S

That made me LOL.
OP - Do you want a modified car? If so, yes... modify it.
If no, then dont modify it.
When i bought my car i said to myself 'No, this one is staying standard' and it did, for almost 6 months, I decided I wanted to make it my own.
Do what you want to do with it, I've never bought a car and thought if i change something it might be harder to sell. I dont buy a car to sell, buy it to enjoy!

Do not care.
Got my own problems. Mod it, don't mod it - will not affect me in any way, shape or form.

You will lose money if you mod. Not that it matters though. If you do t mind losing more money carry on, if not keep it standard.

Lower it 40mm add a not to loud back box, then leave it. Only problem would be fucking the rear beam when you lower it

As much as you can plan to keep it standard, I will give it a month before you get the bug, little bits here and there before you know it you will have shoved 1k into it, been there done that.

Tbh it doesn`t really matter if you mod it because saxo`s have gone down so much the resale value will be peanuts peanuts.Regardless if you mod it or not.If it were my choice i`d keep it standard mate.

Definitely mod it. You'll get bored of it otherwise. Make it your own somehow. Resale value is shit anyway, Aslong as you keep the standard parts so you can sell the mods when you come to sell the car.
Lets face, saxos look pretty shit as standard... Just look how high off the ground they are!
