Just after some ideas and help really.

Me and my girlfriend want to go away for a long weekend from 26th July through to the 29th.

We were thinking Tenerife as my parents go there quite a lot but the flights for both of us is looking around £450 and we can get a villa quite cheap but seems the 4/5hr flight isnt worth it for a weekend.

What are people ideas, within the UK, abroad or whatever. Few hundred quid budget each, not much as we are going to Egypt a month later but want to get away.

Thanks!

Easiest option is to jump on the eurostar over to France/Belguim. Or catch a quick flight to the Dam and....... See the beautiful views. There's loads of stuff you can do rather than settle for London.

Paris sounds like a good shout!
I wouldnt be doing a 4-5 hour flight for a weekend, but a trip on the euro or a ferry to france wouldnt be too bad

This, websites like Trivago can find you cheap, decent hotels, lastminute.com can do you flights, and hotels, and you can usually get a decent deal.. Anything like that is good!

City breaks, you can usually find on the internet where there are decent bars and places for food and things to do and such..

I just checked, and i can do the days you want, flying from leeds, to barcelona, in a 4* hotel, with a pool, all inclusive, for £290 per person..

Probably be loads cheaper flying from down south like

You shop in sports direct too.

I wouldn't bother going away if u got proper hop coming up. Save money and do something extra on hol and five hour flight is nothing.

Dublin is a quality city to go to, temple bar <3

great food, great beers loads to see but it's super expensive.

you mentioned prague earlier saying it was like £400 but it's one of the cheapest places you can go, food and drinks are mentally cheap even for top restaurants. Are you doing these crappy package deals or something?

Go there.. 4 star hotels for your dates in Prague, for £100 upwards, then just flights..

Doesn't really help going from Southampton airport tbf.. It seems they have flights which go FUCKING NOWHERE!

Took the girlfriend to Barcelona for her Valentines present...
Paid £360 for 2 people for flights and 4* accommodation for 2 nights which wasn't bad and it's a hell of a city, but be aware Barce, Venice, Milan etc. are all expensive cities in themselves and I spent a good £150-200 on the 3 days we were there, she spent a bit too.

But like I said, Barce is a hell of a lovely place to go.
