Well i waxed the whole car today just to build up some coats,

-- Outside Done today --

1. Rinse
2. Meg's shampoo and cond
3. Rinse
4. Dry with waffle towel
5. Menzerna spray gel on alloys
6. Leave for 20 mins and jet down then dry.
7. 4 coats of poorboys wheel sealent on the alloys (stops break dust apparentlly, they look brand new apart from the one badlly curbed alloy)
8. Blackfire Gloss all the car
9. 2 coats of blackfire deep wet look stuff
10. Spray on mirrors so there actually black again
11. Wet look spray on tyres
12. A bit of windolene for windows applied by using a newspaper

-- Inside Done Today --

1. Dash cleaned with some smelly nice stuff
2. Hoover
3. AutoGlym shampoo on the seats, carpets and door cards.
4. AutoGlym freshner on seats, carpets and door cards.
5. New vailla tree air freshner... (lovelly)

-- Tommorow if the weather is good --

1. Add 2 more layers of the blackfire wet stuff to the car.
2. Screw 2 subs down and in, they wont be flying about anymore.
3. Clean acoustic's carpet and sub boxes with Autoglym shampoo and freshner, after hoovering it.
4. Add another coat of poorboys wheel sealent to the alloys.

-- Rest of week --

1. Rinse engine completley after covering up all electrical thing's.
2. Make it nice and shiny.

I think that's about it and then im ready for trax... really in 2 worlds weather to use the porter cable before trax... if i mess up the bodywork then i wont have enough time to get it repaired so i think im going to wait until afer trax before i use it. it looks brilliant with the blackfire on it... i dont think i can fault that stuff. Sorry for the essay,

I plan on keeping it in the garage until trax.. lol.. As i was cleaning iv'e noticed so many imperfections in the paint work like stone chips and small dints.. It's really annoyed me actually i dident realise there was so many. As soon as trax is over im going to find a new bodyshop and have them all sorted. So at trax you guys are going to have to pretend the stone chips dont excist :P

Very nice, is the blackfire polish alot better than the megs?

James
28th August 2006, 22:19
Allot better... Use some megs and then use some blackfire to compare it... its shockingly better... My car feels so smooth as well like glass.

James
28th August 2006, 22:21
http://www.downtown-mafia.com/cloud/clean/blitz/4.jpg

That was with the 3 step megs... but then again blackfire is only good on dark coloured cars i guess because it makes it look really deep and wet.. no idea what it would look like on gold so dont go by judgement.

carln
28th August 2006, 22:24
i have just sent a pm to polishedbliss to find out which will be best to use on my car, as i dont rate the megs polish at all, as it does not give it a really deep shine.
