right everyone
just a quick question for yas
if i need to top up my gear box i can just fill it from the top cant i ?
ive been told to fill it there but wont that over fill it. as im only ment to put 2 2.5l in to it.
and the filler hole is near the bottem
or is all this wrong
please help.:wall:

easiest way is to fill from the side until it flows out. Then put the bung in and you're good to go.

how can i check if there is inough in the bear box

on the end of the gearbox there's a round headed bolt with a square middle. one upper and one lower. the lower one is to drain the oil out and the upper is to re-fill/ check the oil level.
You need a 5mm square headed socket, undo the upper bolt and oil should dribble out. If it doesn't then it needs topping up...
