Give them the chassis number, If they are a decent outfit they will have all the details on the computer of what engine and what phase the car is.
Or Give citroen a call with your chassis number and ask them for the part number of the clutch and go from there.
Owning a change over car is only a pain in the arse if you make it one. I have never had any problems.

No lso they differ
Changeover cars suck for parts
Ive even seen a 98hp model a with 180mm clutch so was like wtf
I despise those years i would deliberatly not buy a 2000 car just cause of this

I got a w reg you just use the chassis number instead of the reg number. Never had any problems and mines got bits from everywhere.

Why the fuck would you just guess? Its not exactly hard to give them the chassis number.

If its a 3 plug ecu ie the newer engine then go for the newer style clutch if its a single plug go for the mk1 clutch. Pretty sure that's what I did with my w reg

My Xreg 'full phase 2' if you like had a phase 1 clutch in it much to my annoyance.
Everything else was facelift on the car bar the flywheel and clutch.
Just give your reg and a motorfactors will know what you need.
