Afternoon all,

As this site is basically 'Saxo for dummies' which by all means is me I just wanted to know (have searched and couldnt find) what exactly is needed for lowering the front of my sax.

Looking to get this asap. I know you can adjust the torsion bar to lower the rear but for the front do I just need the springs?? eg the ones in this link from ebay??

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-Saxo-1-6-VTS-LOWERING-SPRINGS-50mm-/200525586115?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2eb0419ec3#ht_2051wt_1052

Or is it a case of gettting a load more stuff in order for me to be able to lower the front end?? Ps I'm on 16 inch rims atm. Recommended amount to lower by?? 50ml?

Appreciated folks.

The rear bars get pulled out, arms twisted to wanted height and then bars go back in... All that is needed are the springs and and ball joints or track rod ends that need replacing (due to wear) spring compressors will be needed... And on 16's 50mm will probably be about as low as you wanna go... Maybe a touch too low (my personal opinion...)

I'm thinking 50ml was probably a tad too much too, may just drop it by 35ml. I'll do an ebay search for them bits. Hopefully not too much in cost!

Thanks for the help mate. I don't know what I'm dealing with so it's a case of buying the bits and getting a mate to fit them so I don't get mugged by a garage!
