Is this country getting worse for crime.
Just seems i hear more and more cars or businesses being broke into or stolen.
Does anyone else feel the same.

Lets do a check on the situation:
Is this country getting worse for crime.
If anything it's getting better for crime, less police on the streets and reduced budgets means more opportunity for the criminals.
Just seems i hear more and more cars or businesses being broke into or stolen.
You live in Manchester, surprised much? It's a metropolitan shit hole filled with scummy pikey fuckers. Your probably seeing and hearing about more burglaries because you or a family member is doing them.
Does anyone else feel the same.
No, as I don't live in Manchester and I'm not a fucktard.

You are getting older, so you hear about this kind of thing more, plus its easier for these stories to cover the country, rather than a weekly paper with limited news..

The UK has had quite high crime rates for a very long time. General assaults and robbery is very high by European and even US standards. There is nothing new there. But can't say I have noticed any increase in the past few years.

None of my family would stoop so low dondon.
5-10yrs maybe two people i know were burgled, but in the last two years only a few hav'nt been hit.
No its not from the papers. iTS NOT JUST MANCHESTER. we have friends with business over the north west, Blackpool,Preston, merseyside areas.
Only a month ago we were also broken into.
A Few customers have also said their work shops and garages have had some type of theft or break in.
Its not a laughing subject. Could any one here afford to loose minimum £5000. some of us had that in one top box. It also makes me wonder what some people do with unlocked ecu's as then the car is simple to take.

That's one of the weirdest replies I've ever read to a thread.
I'm not sure if it's meant to be witty / an insult / or just you being angry.
Strange person.

I fail to see what your struggling with to be honest, I addressed each of the posters points clearly and concisely. It wasn't trying to be anything, it was just my response.
Your inability to comprehend my motives, or apparent lack of understanding doesn't worry me as it was posted on a whim last month... I gave very little thought or my time to it, if your struggling that much I'd suggest you do the same :).

lol +1 on that, I've got first hand experience :homme:
In the town where I live, a car got broken into about 8 years ago.
Everyone knows each other, so news travels fast. virtually no crime. As a result my insurance is cheap as well :D

I can see a connection here, it appears to be the people from Manchester getting upset because I called their city a shit hole. I come from Newcastle and live in Leeds, it's not as if i live anywhere that's any better so please understand I'm not attempting to belittle or talk down to "mancs"- but it doesn't change Manchester having a large population of goons :).

I work there for one week in every month and spent 8 weeks there training in march/April, the city centre around Piccadilly was no different to anywhere else... The outskirts were pretty shocking, just like the shit holes around Newcastle to be fair, no different.

Anyway, my hyprocritical comment refered to the fact you said "don't get worked up by something on the internet", yet your inital post is quite abrasive and elaborate for someone who A: posts on a whim, and B: doesn't get worked up by something on the internet

muggings are more common than previous years too.

As a whole it's a shit tip, most the surrounding areas are filled with scummers and the people living there don't give a shit about it and treat the streets like a bin. Compared to some European cities its scruffy and pretty unpleasant.

Your judgement of "how worked up I was" etc is fine to be honest, as just how I did about mr "fucking arsehole" your making an assumption based on what your reading. What i will say is just because I elaborate on a point and articulate myself in a certain way doesn't mean I'm necessarily worked up, I wasn't swearing at anyone or raising my blood pressure at all... It was posted on a whim in about 30 seconds to a minute- not really what I'd class as a fit of rage or an outburst... Unlike in my opinion calling out someone as a fucking arsehole.
Our opinions can differ, that's life :).

For someone who has a self proclaimed lack of interest in others judgements regarding your posts, you seem to have put a fair bit of effort into justifying yourself throughout the course of the thread.

I have a few school friends who lived properly in the countryside. 0 incidents reported in their area!
I bet car insurance is pretty decent for them lol.
5 for me - one car break in, the rest "anti-social" - which'll be the McDonalds on the A1 which is not actually in the village :)
It's a nice area to be fair. Never bothered about any risk of crime. And yeah - insurance is very low too :D
