My VTS is currently lowered on 50mm springs. Its a bit of a pain when you come to a road with speed bumps or isnt flat as the exhaust catches the ground unless you creep over them. If I change the springs to 30mm and adjust the torsion bar to suit would it be alot easier on roads that have speed bumps etc?

Easily. I drove up here without catching at 40mm

John, you're meant to drive on the road, not the footpaths lol

Get another exhaust that sits higher? Mine is lowered 50mm and it doesnt catch on anything at all, dont need to creep over bumps either...

Either you have giant speedbumps or your exhaust is hanging low i would say

Drove my car 50mm down for years with a lower brace and allsorts never had huge issues

My vtr is down 50 mm with lower strut brace and only catch the brace on something every now and then.

im down 75mm and i can't remember the last time i scraped at all :) Just get a decent exhaust and make sure you tuck it up the best you can! I always put the hangers throught the middle of the rubber hanger rather than how they should be.

(have some stupidly big bumps down here as well)

Its a magnex full ss system on it. The Centre section does turn down towards the groung which is annoying. I have a new centre section to go on so hopefully that will sort it.
