hey people need to know asap if the CV comes off the shaft in a vtr? my CV boot has ripped and tryin to fit another one but i cant get the CV off any ideas? :wall::wall::wall::wall:

you're fitting a new CV boot?

It just stretches over. man up :P I can do it.

OR

The CV joint comes off with a puller. you're as well getting a new shaft, you can bugger the joint removing it like that as well and it's not worth the risk.

similar story with me, the rubber boot on the outer CV joint has come off on my vtr and i now have plenty of rust protection around my wheel arch and associated components in the way, its cheaper just to buy a new shaft i got one from eurocarparts cost only £48.10 planning on changing it this weekend (hopefully the weather is good)
