Hi, I put my car on a dampertest at my local test station. My Gaz GHA347 damper on the front showed no different in performance stiffening or softening the settings. The result was 85 % I have been told that everything above 70% is good.
On the rear I had 55% on softest settings, after clicking tovards stiffer I found that 18 clicks from the softest settings was best. I got 75% reading. More than 21 clicks and the % went down.
I do not know if these machines can be used this way, but my car feels very good now. I drive with 18 clicks front and back. I can go up to 21 clicks before it gets lower %.
My setup on axel is:
21mm Torsion bars
25mm ARB
Polybushes for axle mounting
I have no experience driving my car on track, just wanted to share this with you.
If anyone have tips on setting up these Gaz kits feel free to post here.
Best regards Ketil
