Im looking for a gaming pc but have no idea what to look for, Im not much of a online gamer but it would be nice knowing i have the option.

Have been looking at

For the price its not bad.
But for gaming i'd want something with a decent spec, rather than big numbers.

It doesnt have an SSD, its got 16GB of RAM but its slow, Graphics card is seriously out of date.

They dont even sell those motherboards anymore either.

Avoid.

always cheaper to buy the parts in bits, then put it together or get a pc friend to do it for you,

you can get a decent system this way for £500ish

If you know anything about PC's at all, it might be worth you building one mate. ( As B0t13 said )

Grab yourself an i5 or i7 (unless you find better cost/power ratio of an AMD Chip) then 8GB ram I'd say as minimum and focus mainly on your graphics card and cooling.

Monitor aside you could build one for a decent price.

Very true. Board screws in as does power supply to case, Pop your CPU in with a dab of Arctic Silver smoothed over top and bung the heat sync / fan on.

The rest is pretty much slot in such as Ram and G-card etc.

HDD can be secured in caddy. SSD can be screwed in freely to stop it dangling.

Disc drive similar to HDD just slot in case and plug in.

The hardest part you'd probably have is finding where to plug fans in and stuff and your SATA cables and what not. But other than that, aside from my very basic description above, it's really not too tough you and a friend could probably fathom it out. Save yourself a few quid. Suppose, for what its worth, youtube that shit.

Thanks guys, have looked online about building it my self looks fairly easy but im to lazy for that. Rather order something thats plug and play, but i have found another one with i7 3770k 16gb ddr3 and a hd graphics card for the same price so will probly go for that

Thats a fairly recent processor, in a PC for £500?
That sounds almost too good to be true unless the rest of the components are EOL rubbish.

I have bought from there Last year and got a nice system for pretty cheap and had no problems.

http://www.cpubenchmark.net/ - Try this site to compare all hardware based on 3d score, you might find that some I5's will outperform I7 and are possibly cheaper because its older hardware.

Build your own definitely as others have suggested.

I've been building for years but i throw a lot at them when doing so.

Seriously consider an i7 CPU if you are looking at mainly gaming, makes a huge difference over AMD CPU's. Always had trouble with AMD.

RAM you want decent fast stuff. Im currently running 16GB of 2133mhz of Corsair Vengeance RED ram. Nice and fast. Alongside 2x NVidia GeForce 660Ti 2GB graphics card with an SSD for main storage and a 2tb drive SATA-3 6GB/s for game installations.

I'm playing everything including the power hungry Crysis 3 in full resolution with absolutely no slow down or problems.

All depends on how much you really want to spend. If you are looking for a budget system that can do most games at a decent resolution then your link to the eBay build would be sufficient. If you want to build something that you can afford to spend a little extra on, then build your own and get good parts, always research and you'll have no problems.

My system at the moment is:
