Anyone know if the camera works if your driving facing towards the front of it on the opposite side of the road?

if it's a regular GATSO then no, they do not work for traffic coming towards them. Flash could distract the driver and cause an RTC.

I guess you'll soon find out when you get a letter in the post. moral of the story is you don't have a racecar.

And the sign posts that tell you what the speed limit is for a particular type of road?

If it has a circle lens then they get you going both ways. If its square then it only gets you from the back. Them little tiny ones get you both ways aswell

I'm not in that area, but according to the speed awareness course I recently attended very very few are switched on. 11 percent or something stupid up here

Yes yes, after a long day everyone gets tired. I think ill be ok then, it's just a regular fluorescent yellow camera with a square lens.

Nope, not if I remember correctly. If I'm tired I stop, sad but honest at least.

Nope, I've never had any close calls with speed cameras.

There are none where I live for at least 20 miles. lol and I'm only 10 miles from town.

I got lucky but they fucked up their end with what speeds and the wrong speed limit on the letter to the actual road. A letter and photo evidence later and that letter below got me off the points. :A: i was pretty sick as who have me on fb knew lols.

Pretty much all the cameras by me are turned off now. You can tell on gatsos if the bottom right hole is just black it's off, if its silver/shiny it's on.

I have noticed at least 4 times in the past few weeks camera vans sitting right by the cameras but obviously checking speed before you reach the camera. Bastards. Give me double the amount of cameras but no vans or police radars any day of the week!

Ones with the circle lens get you going towards them, rectangular/square lens get you going away from them...

Randyransford91

Yeah. Most work off GPS, but also have a laser on them to detect the handheld guns...

the one nearest my house changes direction every few days, its a rectangle one that gets you going away from it, good idea tbh as it always keeps you slow no matter what side of the road you're on.
