Hi All - Breather question

First up - Hi All :y:

Recently bought an early VTS with a mate , our intention is to slowly convert it for sprints and hillclimbs.

Noticed today that the fuel breather connection on the top of the tank (the green one) has snapped off.

My question is - can I bypass it by blocking it off and then run a breather pipe from the white connection on the top of the tank straight to the breather valve.

Best bet is just to go to a scrap yard, fuel tank is only held on by 2 13mm nuts andd slide it to the back of the car. And remove a decent standard pipe.

Be a lot easier than messing around for ages under your car

Managed to refit broken pipe back on with plastic epoxy - so all good now.
