Help Green Air Filter!!

Hey i just bought a green air filter for my furio! and i am completey stuck! the instructions are vague as it is but i cannot see how i can attach the rubber hose to the air filter itself as the size of the hose doesnt go inside the air filter nor does it match! also i have a metal ring which i dont have a clue where to put! please HELP!!!!!!!!

well that meatal ring is called a jubilee clip which you put over the tube and tighten when its over the filter

try wd40 then sliding the hose on then put the jubilee clip on and tighten up

but how can u tighten a metal ring:S! do i slide the hose ontop of the air filter bit? cheers

some people just dont ahve a clue lol,sorry mate get a mechanic to fit it on for you

pretty harsh! but even with wd40 it won't fit:S and ive got 3 jubilee clips and a metal ring:S come on guys you gotta help me

I had a green filter is it the enclosed one or normal? can u post some pics to help?

post up some pics of what u have and of the size difference between the end of the induction piping and the filter, generally one fits in2 the other and the jubilee clip is tightened with a screw driver to hold the 2 together.

in mine the was some metal tube tht went into the rubber tube and fitted right it to the cone

its sorted now guys! i had to expand the air flilter sleeve because the hose was too big! but...HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET THE BREATHER HOSE OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just give it a good yank , should come off faily easily
