kenwood radio not reading

Hi ive had a kenwood kdc 3054u for about 6 month. Yesterday i plugged usb in and it just says reading. It does the same with cds aswell. Just after a bit of advice on what to do. Do i need to totally disconnect it to reset it or is tgis a common problem. Its still under warranty aswell. Cheers

I've got a slightly older KDC in my car which sometimes said 'reading' and wouldnt change.
This only ever happened with my 160GB ipod classic though, everything else it was fine with.

Is it a memory stick you've never used with it before? What size? Format etc...

I think they will only read fat32 rather than ntfs.

Ive been using the 8gig usb stick for ages and been fine until i took it out to charge my phone with usb cable. That must have something to do with it then.

You could try giving it a factory reset if its still not working, or maybe have a look at updating the firmware?
