hi people. wonder if you could help me here.
i just baught a set of front speakers dor my saxo....and i see that the orginal speakers are held in place by some peice of metal (rivit mybe?) anyway....how do i take the original speakers out?
any help would be great thanx!

you have to drill the rivits out. make sure the drill bit isn't too wide otherwise you'll drill a bigger hole and will then have to use larger screws lol :(

i had this problem on friday! i could not drill them out they would not budge! duno how, so i used a screwdriver and hammered it behind the rivet and levered it out! the hard way lol!!

Right m8, i had this problem a couple of weeks ago when i put sum Fli speakers in my front doors. Once you have removed them front speaker cover, there will be 4 rivets holding the speaker in place. You need to get a drill with a bit size of about 5mm, and carefully drill the rivet out. Once all 4 rivets have been drilled, the speaker should come free and can then be disconected. Then the new speaker can be held in place and if your lucky the screws supplied with the speakers will be wide enough to bite into the four holes left where the rivets once were. If not, find some other screws which will do the job.
