It's been sodding sunny all day, I finish work at 4, have my tea. Collect a waffle towel and wax from halfords and start working on the car at half 6. Rinsed it, washed it with hot water. Rinsed it, washed it with another bucked but cold water, Rinsed it. Dryed 90% of the car with my waffle towel (which is awesome by the way.) And it starts raining!!! Even though every sodding weather channel/site said otherwise!

It was practicaly the only night I'm going to get before trax.

lol! youre gonna have to wash it at the show mate, or since its already clean get yourself a bottle of meg's quick detailer and go at it with an MF cloth tomorrow to get rid of the light contaminants the rain has left

I know but not as dirty as it would be if I left it all till saturday. I was going to do the lot, polish then a few coats of wax. Then top it all up on saturday. Thats now gone out the window!

And I would KC, but I'm low on funds till the 22nd!

well the car is mostly clean, you could just use a sponge and water to get the dust off? or you stuck for time?

Well the only time I pretty much have before trax, is an hour or so on friday after work, and saturday till 1pm. Which if it rains, I'm even more in the shitter. Lol.

Just wash it at TRAX. I've coming 500 odd miles, and mine will look shite by the time I arrive, but it won't take long to sort it out - hour and a half tops. :)

Look, only because you're a kick ass car cleaning whore it doesn't mean you can rub it in ;)

Lol, just trying to give the boy some confidence. I always used to panic about getting it to shows clean, but you're miles better off chucking 4-5 buckets in the boot and just wet washing it when you arrive. Quick detailing after a few hundred miles of driving is asking for trouble.

I'd love too, but my girlfriend is coming and in all honesty I'd rather enjoy the show/drifting etc. It's my first official car show, so I think I'm going to take my camera a packed lunch and enjoy the day.

Seems fair enough to me, hehe. :)

Yay, it was sunny outside and I had a few hours spare so I got to work.

My results arn't that bad either, I know its going to rain tomorrow and sunday, but I don't care because it's cleaner than it was.
