Ive got a 1.1 pug 106 zest v reg 1999.
The steering rack boot that looks like this has split-http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111102315768?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
The MOT is due october and i need to change this.
Question 1 is the above suitable? and 2 how do i set about changing them?
Thanks in advance for any answers.

that one is the wheelarch end and is a doddle to do, just jack it up, support on axle stands, swap boot, job done.

Check the other one too, could be perished. The other one requires you to take the bolt out of the ram which connects to the rack which can can be fiddly to slip over, but with some dexterity and steering wheel waggling you'd sort it in 30 minutes

The other one being the longer one on the actual steering rack mate? If so that one is fine looks as if its not long been replaced.
Just the wheel arch one has a small split in it, so is it really just a case of sliding the old off and the new one?

Bit fidgety with little room. It has a little lip what it slides over.
