ads have you got a 5 dr if so can you fit vt kits on them?? could be cool to see certainly something different if you could modify it

yeah i have a 5 door dude. Basically I have to slice the quarter panel in two - one section bonded into the rear door, one section on to the rear arch. The rest just fits as normal
I've also got to bugger around with the door panels but im feeling i might not bother with that and just remove the rub strips and fill in the holes along the doors instead - it'll give the car a more flared appearance around the arches. Still, its only ideas at the moment...

yeh sounds cool alot of extra work involved to do it!! here a MAD IDEA not sure work though
have you thought of maybe the pug gti kit, that comprise of just arches and skirts no door panels so maybe you could take of the strips smooth over and then maybe with some mods lol fit gti arches and back front bumper not sure how much work is need fit bumpers but you can do it prob have to hack a bit from another skirt to make it that extra bit longer or maybe somehow mold the arches differently at the end for it to vit into a vtr back front bumper
could be really cool certainly different!

i probably will get a vt* kit but it'll probably work out dearer than buying an after market kit.
any1 know where i can get the full vt kit from... rather than buying single bits from ebay or something!

citroen m8 but they will rape you in the arse for it just get the bits of ebay or ring one of the people on ebay or a scrappy who are braking a vtr/s and ask them for the intire kit but it probally work out more expensive in my experience cheaper if bought in bits but then it does take longer to aquire!

ye i would have thought thats the cheapest way but reading on some forums , some ppl have paid like 150 for the full kit.
looking on ebay it'll cost near enough 400 for kit

occasionally full VT kits become available on ebay... the chances of it being the colour of yours are slim so you'd need to get a respray. Just grab each part or get yer ass down to the scrappys :)

i not too arsed about the colour dont mind having them sprayed.
it would probably be best buying a vtr for the money it will cost me. but insurance is well high.
people keep telling me to stop spending money on a 1.1 but they dont realise how much insurance is for young drivers

amen to that. It's a joke, i thought about just leaving ym 1.1 and saving for a vtr in 6 months or so down the line, but its becoming a joke insurance wise.
daryl, your old 1.1 looks amazing, better than your current vtr i reckon :omg:

Hello all,
Ive been wondering what to do aswell. I think i have decided on the cliche kit though because i quite like the black bump strips. Anyway i did find this on ebay.

Full VT* Kit, very pricy though. I'd try visiting my local scrappys.
