removing scuttle

can anybody tell me how to remove the scuttle for when i fit my single wiper and what tools ill need

I fitted my single wiper my self, Scuttle is really easy to remove, it should come out in 2 bits, a big bit that goes right under the window, and a mould that goes over the moter. When fitting the new linkage ensure that you cross over the linkage otherwise you will have problems. Also put the scuttle back on before you fit the wiper arm. Any problems let me know as ive done several of these now.

Its really really easy mate. Take the wipers off,Remove the scuttle Take the moter out, remove the old linkage. Put ur new linkage on. Like i said cross the linkage over so its like an X. put the scuttle back on. Put the wiper arm back on. And ur done. Make sure when u tighten the bold holding the linkage to the moter 1) the moter doesnt move and 2) you tighten it very tight as mine worked loose on the m6 moterway and i had to pull over in the pissing down rain take scuttle off etc, And bolt it all back on. Luckyly the nutt Landed on the scuttle and was able to just go back on. Im based in barrow-in-furness cumbria postcode: La139hl
