Its pretty good, spent a few hours on it as ive had a busy day :( the cars are a lot of fun. Combat system isnt radically different to be honest but its a looser form of the old system which works a bit better.

Just completed missions in the end u get to choose who you are on the last mission you have to grass 2 of them up for robbing a bank (last mission) and then franklin and Michel is who I choose so they get sent down for 10 years and then you play as trevor or whoever you choose but there will probably be dlc for when they come out of jail and that will probably be part 2 or something.

The map as in in-game world? It is f*cking huge! The city alone is a ridiculous size and then you have the outer farming land. Then theres prisons/airports/military bases.

On top of that, when you enter the sea, the floor isn't just a plain coloured floor. It is properly populated with stuff to explore..

As for loading times, when you enter/leave a building it is literally a couple of seconds. When you switch characters, its anywhere up to 10(ish) depending on how far away they are from each other. If they're stood side by side, its instant. Opposite sides of the map and its more like 10 seconds. The map animation when changing is amazing so you don't really notice.

The towing is awesome! I found a 60s style tow truck in the country somewhere. Drove down the highway and found a car transporter with 5 cars on it. Stopped in front, lifted it up and towed the whole thing away lol

Was playing a few hours last night, played a round of golf! ha its not actually that bad. Reminds me of the older Tiger woods games and theres quite a bit of depth to it.

The cars are good as well as the special powers.

Right then guys, some stock advice for you all. There isn't HUGE money to be made but there is a decent amount. This isn't a spoiler but I am posting it in white anyway. No copy and paste jobby. Just what I learnt last night.

Rival companies.

CoolBeans > BeanMachine
Burgershot > Up-An-Atom
CluckinBell > TacoBomb
FlyUS > AirEmu
GoPostal > PostOP
Bilkington > DollarPills
Pisswasser > Logger
MazeBank > BankOfLiberty
Redwood > Debonaire
Slaughter, Slaughter & Slaughter > Bullhead
eCola > Raine
Merrywater > Grupper 6

Enter "Internet" on your phone and then "Finances". The top link should then be a stock market list (White, blue and red logo)

Every company on that list has a description. Some are guns, food, fuel etc..

Every company on that list has a rival company (Sometimes more than one)

Every company on that list has liveried trucks on the road.

Every company on that list has a main HQ building (Somewhere)

1. Now, find a company with very low stock levels (indicated by red values) and buy as many stocks as you can.
2. Search the company list for rival companies
3. Drive/Fly until you find a liveried vehicle from the rival company and FOLLOW it until it arrives at its HQ (HQ will be obvious)
4. Wait outside the HQ and destroy their truck. Run, hide, lose the police and repeat!

For every couple of trucks you attack, that company's stock goes down and yours will go up.

Just remember, the more stocks you have in a company, the more profit you'll make.

There is a point in the game to make serious money...









There's an assassination mission you'll do as Franklin where you're told to eliminate 4 corrupt jurors who are hearing a case against Redwood cigarette company. Pour all your money into Debonaire cigarettes, do the mission and watch your stocks increase 83% (or that's what I sold them at)

You do a few as franklin where you are told what stock to buy before you do the mission :).. If you are clever, you will commit suicide, then use all your players to sink the money into the stock, then buy out with them all a bit later :)

Im only 20% in the game. I can't change to Michael or Franklin atm. :s they are "hiding" after the heist.

I've done 1 with Trevor i think where he chases 2 bikers and a van to a trailer park. Kills all and thats it so far. I've heard it's only 60% for story and i dont think it will take long to get there :/

I do agree to an extent, the offline seems rather quick compared to older gta's, but this version has the online option once its launched which I think will be a lot longer on play with all the heists you can pull and all that sort of stuff and other gangs so for the £32 I paid I think its worth it

From the big job, i did the option with the drill through the wall.. Came away with around 33 million each... Then again, i had a driver who had full stats, for 3% of the take.. One of them blue dots where someone needs help, she was broken down on the side of the road, and i took her home, got her as a driver, with full stats, same happened with a gunman.. Got one from the side of the road, and he took 6%, then i just used someone shit as the other gun man, with a low % because all he had to do was drive a train..

Finally got one back, blasted as fast as i could into the hanger, soon as i got the power on, started pulling up, soon as i was out of the hanger, went as high as i could.. No rockets were shot at me that time.. It's safe and sound in the hanger now!

747 is fun, slow as shit like you say, finally found where the scuba stuff is, so i can explore the sea!

I was swimming at the bottom of the map and I got an instant 4 star wanted level... Looks like a big submarine in a dock.

Lucky enough the police where shit a shooting and got away without too much damage being done. Bloody 3 helicopters though couldn't believe it.

I'm just travelling the map right now and not worrying about the scripted part of the game at this moment in time. But what I have been told is don't bother doin the assassination mission until you have completed the story line of the game.

So you have more money to use against the stock market

Have you lot not bought the research dock up the north west of the map? That gives you access to the mini sub, scuba gear and the dinghy quite early on. Can explore wrecks, collect nuclear waste, see the under water UFO...

You get it on the docks, if you look to the right of the airport on the map, the docks come down in a U shape at the bottom.. Go there.. You will find the Post Op building, to the bottom end of that, on the right hand side of the building..

Go where the marker is dive down, if you see a hatch the briefcase is beside it. Go there... Locate it save the game and collect it... Then change character then change back and voila briefcase is back there. For some strange reason you don't need the air tank but it does help (when you change character then back your air is filled back up) ... If the briefcase isn't there they have patched the game (clear the cache if you want to exploit it)


Any one had a problem with the save file and your cars go missing ? Lost out on a modded R8 from Franklin's garage at the safe house ... Funnily enough the four car garage was fine.

The top river, coming out of the big lake.. Its the purple dot above that on the coast.. Where the little islands are. You pull off the main road, onto a little dirt track, which goes down, then its the shack at the bottom you buy, and the sub comes at the end of the pier, and you get an email, saying please help us clear up nuclear waste, and when you get in the sub, your phone opens an app which directs you to the waste..

negative, each character has their own garage.

Once you find the briefcase go to micheal/franklin (whoever isn't in the water) save it... Collect the briefcase then change character straight away then change back straight away the briefcase and air should be there'd and filled up. The reason for saving is just incase they have patched it (reason I'm asking if you've been online or signed into live when playing as they have patched it... If they have patched yours just go to the Xbox dashboard and clear the games cache and you should be able to grind cash)

If your looking at the hatch (and opening) and its at 12 o'clock you will see two small ledges left and right. It is on the left hand ledge both character should be able to get down to the area with ease but keep an eye on your air and if it gets close to nothing change character and then change back.

I will take a picture of it when I turn on the Xbox in a few hrs.

You really don't need to hack or cheat to make money. I'm at 90m per character just by completing the missions and using the stock market. Never been low on funds.
