Hello everyone

Well after a year and a half of being off the road due to the police royally fucking me over i have now purchased a new little run around for college. She's not built as nice as my old golf gti but it is fun to drive as you all will know! I am new to the french scene so i was looking for a standard vtr in any colour and found this little gem. It does have a few rattles and squeaks but it seems a solid base to go off. Also it doesnt have an aftermarket filter or exhaust but seems very deep and barky .... are all standard vtr's like this?

What did the police do to fuck you over?

Mine standard filter and exhaust and naturally they are quite 'barky' at about 4k rpm onwards.. mines more of a mixture of air sucking and exhaust tone.. sounds good :) Soon to get an aftermarket twin 3" box for mine will need to modify the rear lip to fit the new one.. Yours looks a nice tidy car though.

They done for me drink driving when i was sleeping in the car (had to no where to stay that night) just because i had my keys in the ignition as they said i had the intent of driving. 12 month ban and a £250 fine ...

Looks tidy! Get the few bits sorted out on it first before you start any modifications. Check over for any leaks in air system or exhaust etc..

That will do it mate. All they need is an 'intention to drive' nice DR10 on your licence now for 5 years to declare to your insurance and stays on for about 11 year from conviction date preventing you from hiring a car or taking a driving job. Believe me.. Ive been there.. after 5 years from conviction though most insurance companies only want anything in the last 5. I got 18 months and £350 fine (with alcohol awareness course) lesson learned.

Rough deal man, as long as you weren't driving. Hope you enjoy the car.

Got a few things sorted out this weekend. All the plastics sprayed satin black & tinted the front lights which I think makes the front end look a lot more 'fresh' and then some new sticky number plates!
